transmission on packet-oriented networks, protocols and adaptive algorithms for streaming
will be discussed. The course will also cover Quality-of-Service aspects, content-delivery
networks and new upcoming media standards, like interactive Digital Television.
Participants are expected to participate in a team project, realising an interactive, context-aware streaming portal
supporting mobile devices.
